The Purple and Gold Collection
The Purple and Gold Collection contains approximately 550 items, consisting of monthly editions of The Purple and Gold literary magazine, ranging from 1914 to 2007, with gaps in the collection. The magazine was in print on a monthly basis during the school year from the early 1910s through the mid-1960s. Special class reunion editions were published later, with the most recent one in the collection published in 2007.

Rufus Lyle Family Collection
This collection contains materials gathered by Rufus Lyle that outline his familial history. Included are individual family lines that range from the 1860’s until the 1900’s. Additional genealogical lines date to the 1880’s with the Harper family that was related to the Lyle’s. There are also various newspaper clippings, correspondences between family members, additional historic information, and photos primarily taken in the 1940’s and 1950’s in the collection.
