The Regina M. Hodges Collection contains approximately 30 items, arranged into two boxes and consists of St. Bethlehem School class photographs from 1957 to 1961, Home Demonstration Club yearbooks, and Country Women's Club yearbooks from 1975 to 1988.

Biographical / Historical

This collection was donated in 2011, by Regina Marie Hodges. Regina Hidges, also known as Marie Hodges, attended St. Bethlehem School and served as a member of the Home Demonstration Club, and Women's Country Club in Montgomery County, Tennessee. These clubs were organized under the direction of the Agricultural Extension Service of the University of Tennessee and divided by districts within Montgomery County. The St. Bethlehem Country Women's Club was organized in 1922. These clubs held their own club meetings, organized activities, and planned events. The name of the organization has evolved over the years from the Tennessee Home Demonstration Club, Tennessee Extension Homemakers Club (E.H.C.), and Tennessee Association for Family and Community Education. The Tennessee Association for Family and Community Education (F.C.E.) now consists of a network of community organizations in Tennessee. The goals of F.C.E. are to learn through shared experience, improve home and community life, strengthen adult education, and promote projects that enhance family and community life.
