The Piatt Family Papers houses the personal family records of the Piatt family that lived in Clarksville, Tenn. The materials in this collection primarily dates between the years 1950 and 1960, with some materials from before and after this time period. This collection consists of correspondences between Dorothy and Robert Piatt. There are various newspaper clippings, photographs and other items such as receipts, and postcards from the Piatt Family.

Plain front wall mounted telephone produced by Western Electric Company that once belonged to Pearl Sanford, the Chief Operator of the Port Royal, Tenn. Telephone Exchange from 1928 to 1939. The collection also includes a framed photograph of Pearl Sanford and a small brass plaque commemorating her time with the Telephone Exchange.

Political Campaign Materials Collection
The bulk of the collection focuses on local elections between 2014 and 2024. Some of the most notable local races included are the Clarksville mayoral campaigns from 2002, 2006, 2014, 2018, and 2022. Additionally, there are materials from the Montgomery County mayoral campaigns from 2014, 2018, and 2022. The oldest item connected to local elections included in the collection is a campaign sign for G. C. Adkins campaign for Montgomery County Register in 1942.
