RG 010. Records of the Highway Department

The Highway Department Maps collection includes a variety of maps from Montgomery County’s Highway Department, dating from 1932 to 2004. The maps document the roadway expansion as well as topographic and zoning changes which have taken place throughout the county.

The Roadway and Infrastructure Plans collection houses the plans and proposals of Montgomery County’s Highway Department. This collection, which spans from 1930 to 2000, consists of roadway, building, airport, cemetery, and subdivision plans, which document the infrastructural changes and growth of the county.

This series contains a cash journal for the Montgomery County Highway Department. The front of the cash journal also includes a handwritten baking recipe.
