The bulk of the collection focuses on local elections between 2014 and 2018. Some of the most notable local races included are the Clarksville mayoral campaigns from 2002, 2006, 2014, 2018, and 2022. Additionally, there are materials from the Montgomery County mayoral campaigns from 2014, 2018, and 2022. The oldest items connected to local elections included in the collection are two campaign signs from 1966, one for Sam Boaz running for Law and Equity Court Judge and one for Patrick Monaghan running for Floterial Representative of Houston, Humphreys, and Montgomery counties. There are also additional newspapers and advertising materials concerning Patrick Monaghan's 1966 run for Floterial Representative.

Business card advertisement for Tom Huggins as a candiddate for re-election to the position of Montgomery County Sheriff. The elction was held on August 4, 1938 and Huggins lost to W. E. Beaumont.
