Scope and Contents From the Series: The “Diaries and Journals” series encompasses the ‘Day Books’ and journals that Sterling Fort, Josiah Fort, and Robert Fleming used to annotate their everyday lives. These journals are mostly recordings of the weather on any particular day, and whether or not they met with somebody that day.
