Biography
Virginia L. Marshall was born on May 7, 1929 to Milard Taff Martin and Mable Beatrice Wade Martin in North Carolina. She served as the Deputy Clerk for Alex Darnell as the Clerk and Master of the Montgomery County Chancery Court for several years before he was name Chancellor. Following his appointment in 1975, he name Marshall his successor as Clerk and Master. She served in that position for 12 years before retiring in 1987. She died on October 21, 1998.
