Content Description

Draft of the Land Between the Lakes Hertiage Resources Management Plan. This draft was published in April of 2002. This management plan was organized to protect Land Between the Lake's history and to continue the education mission that was created beforehand. It was also created to help guide the Forest Service in their actions to identify, evaluate, and protect the properties of the historic, archeological, architectural, engineering, or hertiage importance of the Land Between the Lakes.

Scope and Contents From the Collection: The Kirk photograph collection contains mainly photographs, ranging from the dates of 1894 to 1973. The photographs primarily focus on school class pictures, boats, railroads, and some scenery around the Clarksville area. The collection contains a scrapbook presumed to belong the Kirk family, but there are no names or dates listed throughout the book.
