The Guaranty Federal Savings and Loan Association was chartered in 1973. It's first location was at 217 Franklin Street and opened to the public in June 1973. In 1989 the company moved from it's original location to 502 Madision Street and later in the same year changed it's name to the Guaranty Federal Savings Bank.
