Content Description

A book prepared by the Tennessee Department of Conservation, Tennessee Division of Geology, which maps Montgomery County into quadrants and lists the property owners in each area. The project was completed jointly by the Tennessee Division of Geology with the Work Projects Administration and documents the name, address, civil district and acreage for each property owner within Montgomery County.

Custodial History

In 1999, Jill Hastings-Johnson donated this item to the Montgomery County Archives. The book was recovered after a tornado damaged many county offices in 1999.

Processing Information

The book was disassembled as the binding posts had become rusty, cleaned, and rehoused in individual folders for each quadrant. The original order as bound is retained.
