Scope and Contents
This collection includes the Batson family papers and tax records. W.C. Batson served as the Tax Assessor for Montgomery County. Two cards from 1940 list Batson as a candidate for re-election. The collection includes approximately fifty items of family papers, ephemera, and scrapbooks arranged into two boxes.

Custodial History
Randy Dawson donated this collection to the Customs House Museum on January 3, 2017. The Customs House Museum transferred the collection to the Archives on April 26, 2018.
