Clarksville Fact Book Collection
Scope and Contents
The Clarksville Fact Book Collection, which dates from 1985 to 2016, contains the city directories created by the Leaf-Chronicle. These fact books were an annual project that included the Leaf-Chronicle’s collaboration with local businesses, institutions, and organizations. The purpose of this project was to create an easy guide to the many different aspects of life in the Clarksville, Montgomery County, and Fort Campbell Area. The information included in these fact books includes directories, advertisements, and a list local award recipients. During the summer of each year, the Leaf-Chronicle would sell these fact books to local citizens and tourists. This collection showcases the cultural and business developments across Clarksville and surrounding areas over the course of several decades.
