Biographical / Historical
Located at 3431 Fort Campbell Boulevard, the second Bonanza Steak House opened in Clarksville, Tennessee in December 1976. It was co-owned by Garland Wright, who previously managed the Bonanza restaurant that was located at the Two Rivers Mall. It was one of three Bonanza restaurants that operated in Clarksville.
In 1991 all three franchises were converted to Ponderosa Steakhouses. The franchise located on Fort Campbell Boulevard operated as a Ponderosa until 2003 when owner Lisa Wright announced that she would sever ties with Ponderosa and reopen the resaurant as Bradley's Grill. It is unclear if the resaurant reopened under that name however, and by 2004 the location became home to the Jade Dragon restaurant. It is unknown when this restaurant closed, but the building was razed sometime between 2014 and 2016.
