The Duck’z Journal Collection consists of 24 newsletters created by Robert D. Davidson. The newsletters contain excerpts from newspapers, mainly the Leaf Chronicle, related to the history and genealogy of Montgomery County, Tennessee. Last names are indexed in the back of each volume. The majority of the collection consists of Duck’z Journal: “The Southern Half,” written by Dona and Pat Davidson between 1987 and 2005.

Custodial History

The editions in the collection with accession # 2000.007 were donated by Robert D. Davidson. Those with the accession # 2005.009 were purchased by the Montgomery County Archives.

Processing Information

Staples were removed from each edition. Editions housed in the Montgomery County Reference Room were bound together in a binder based on publication name and volume number. Additional copies were placed in folders and are housed in the archives.
