Scope and Contents

October 15, 1931 - N.F. Smith (First Baptist Church) to Foster & Creighton Company, regarding the results of an inspection of the roof installed on the 1917 church building as well as Howell School and Burt High School by the Barrett Co. (2 pp.)

November 12, 1931 - J.W. Marshall (Genasco Shingles) to The Barrett Co., regarding work completed by Marshall to repair the roof of the First Baptist Church building.

December 3, 1931 - Paul A. Tate (The Barrett Co.) to J.W. Marshall, denying payment for a claim of repair costs.

February 24, 1932 - Paul A. Tate to J.W. Marshall, reiterating that Marshall was not authorized by The Barrett Co. to make repairs to the roof and asking for clarification of the materials used before considering reimbursement, includes a business card.

September 13, 1934 - F.N. Smith to The Barrett Company, requesting a response regarding needed repairs to the roofs of the First Baptist Church, Howell School, and Burt High School.

September 14, 1934 - Paul A. Tate to F.N. Smith, indicating that a representative will be in Clarksville shortly to inspect the roofs of the First Bapist Church, Howell School, and Burt High School.

October 3, 1934 - Paul A. Tate to F.N. Smith, reporting the results of a roof inspection indiciated no repairs necessary.

October 5, 1934 - F.N. Smith to Paul A. Tate, responding to report of no repairs necessary.
