This series includes 765 photographs and negatives relating to the Hodgson family. There are many unidentified portraits of men, women, and children dating back to the 1870’s. These portraits are assumed to be Hodgson family relatives and display various hair styles and fashion that have been popular over the centuries. A large majority of the photographs have been identified as more recent family members and many of the identified photographs are of particular family lines. There are multiple copies of family portraits featuring Lee Maguire and Fannie Hodgson as well as their sons, Lee Miller and Samuel Kindley. There are photographs of Albertine Lee Hodgson, June Kindley Hodgson, Lee Kindley Hodgson and Jan Gibson Hodgson as well as her twin sister, Gretchen. The photographs display trips taken by the Hodgson families as well as their daily lives and milestones such as the birth of a child or school portraits.

The scrapbooks contained within this collection features portraits of unidentified men, women, and children that are presumed to be distant relatives of the Hodgson family. The second scrapbook included portrays Lee Maguire and Fannie Hodgson’s family. There are many pictures of their sons, Lee Miller and Samuel Kindley Hodgson, as well as some featuring Julia Hodgson and two unidentified young girls that appear to be of similar age to Lee Miller and Samuel Kindley.
