From the Collection:

The Hodgson Family Collection includes a wide variety of family documents and photographs. The documentation includes personal and professional letters, copies of publications made by or pertaining to family members, school records, military records, and reports of family history. There are newspaper clippings, as well as copies of newspaper clippings, regarding wedding and death announcements as well as other assorted topics. There is an extensive amount of family research, such as pedigree charts, individual family lines, and family maps. There are copies of Civil War era military passes and family receipts as well. The dates of these documents span from the 1860's into the 1950's.

The photographs included portray the growth of the Hodgson family from the 1870's into the early 2000's. There are photographs documenting trips, houses, schools, and the growth of children. There is also a series of glass plate negatives and scrapbooks that portray family lines and individual portraits. Three CD's are included that hold copies of some of the photographs.
