Photo Album 3, 1885 to 1910

The “Loose Photographs and Albums” series, which dates from 1850-1972, includes two hundred and thirteen loose photographs, and eight photo albums. The photographs and albums include images of weddings, graduations, birthday parties, professional portraits, and candid family photographs. Photographs which can be identified are grouped together by family member and arranged chronologically within each group. The albums are boxed with no specific arrangement. The donor hand wrote in pen on photographs attempting to provide identification and genealogical information. Not all these annotations are accurate, and caution should be taken relying on the handwritten information. Additionally, ink stamps of the donor’s name on the photographs are not original to the materials, the creators of the materials, or the subjects in this collection.
