The “Political Correspondence” series, which dates from 1929-1937, includes correspondence between John T. Cunningham and various politicians and officials throughout the United States. In many of the letters Cunningham advocates for the appointment of specific individuals for positions in government. In others he discusses farm regulations and lobbies in the interest of tobacco farmers. This series is arranged chronologically and alphabetically by correspondent.
