The “Family Papers & Correspondence” series, which dates from ca. 1935-1944, includes letters and notes between John T. Cunningham and other members of the Cunningham family. The bulk of this series consists of letters and receipts connected to the estate of Hugh D. Cunningham, including records of farm labor completed by the Proctor family. It also includes a series of correspondence between John T. Cunningham and his “Uncle Newell,” James N. Cunningham, detailing James’ persistent health and financial struggles. This series is arranged chronologically by subject.
