Business Proceedings of the Fort Family, 1909 to 1936

The “Business Proceedings” series is comprised of Sterling Fort’s paperwork as it relates to the First Northern Bank of Tennessee. Many of the items within this series are letters between Sterling Fort and chairmen of banks contained in or just outside of Clarksville and the surrounding area. Within this correspondence, balances and the purchasing of war bonds is discussed. Also contained in this series is official paperwork or brochures from the Northern Bank of Tennessee that provide information made available to the public about accounts or balances of the bank.
