Receipts and Debt Settlements (Cathy Fleming), 1860 to 1865

The “Financial and Official Documents” series includes anything pertaining to the personal finances of the Fort Family, such as receipts of purchases and personal debt settlements written on paper. Receipts are for both personal dealings as well as any dealings with a corporate/government entities such as insurance policies, deeds for property, or simple things such as clothes purchased at a store. This series is organized by the individual to whom the documents refer.
