 Series

Scope and Contents

The “Personal Papers” series is constructed of varying lengths of memoirs, stories, lessons, and recollections that were written down by the Forts and Flemings. In this series, there are recollections of life experiences at 70 and 80 by Sterling Fort, lessons titled ‘compositions’ by Robert Fleming on topics ranging from friendship to Athenian statesman Phocion, balances and summaries of a Red Cross project by Margaret Fort, and public event ephemera that the family possibly attended.
