Biography
Billy M. Hickerson was born June 29, 1925 to Leonard T. Hickerson and Virginia Moore Hickerson. After receiving a law degree from Vanderbilt University, Hickerson was named the Montgomery County Chancery Court Clerk and Master in 1950. He served in that post for 11 years. He went on to become a Juvenile Court Judge and a General Sessions Judge in the Montgomery County Circuit Court. He died unexpectedly from a coronary thrombosis in 1971 at the age of 46.
