Scope and Contents
The “Parole Board Papers” series, which dates from 1949 to 1962, includes letters to and from Charles Crow Sr. during his tenure as executive secretary of the Tennessee Pardon and Parole Board. The bulk of these contents include correspondence between Crow and colleagues, families of parolees, and state officials. However, an exception has been made for a 1951 Shelby County arrest record. This series is arranged chronologically.
