Scope and Contents

The materials in the Austin Peay State University Yearbook Collection were donated to the Montgomery County Archives over several years by a number of different donors, all of which are listed above. This collection includes Austin Peay State University yearbooks from 1946 to 1993, with gaps in the collection. The collection also includes two editions of the Austin Peay Alumni Directory.

Scope and Contents The Clarksville-Montgomery County History Slides consist of photos of the historic buildings and locations within Montgomery County. The slide show was created around 1978-1981 and features 145 photographs of notable buildings, churches, homes, and schools within Montgomery County and nine pages of notes with a brief description of each photo. Scope and Contents The bulk of the collection focuses on local elections between 2014 and 2018. Some of the most notable local races included are the Clarksville mayoral campaigns from 2002, 2006, 2014, and 2018. Additionally, there are materials from the Montgomery County mayoral campaigns from 2014 and 2018. Scope and Contents

The Purple and Gold Collection contains approximately 550 items, consisting of monthly editions of The Purple and Gold literary magazine, ranging from 1914 to 2007, with gaps in the collection. The magazine was in print on a monthly basis during the school year from the early 1910s through the mid-1960s. Special class reunion editions were published later, with the most recent one in the collection published in 2007.
